We were called to the flat because our clients had been seeing shadows, and hearing bangs, clicks and whispering. They had also been having more than their fair share of headaches recently. Their little boy was often disturbed by someone or something in his bedroom.

The family had also noticed that a teddy bear had appeared, which did not belong to them, sitting high on a wooden beam, in the attic bedroom. The way the bear was positioned would have required someone with very high ladders to place 'him' on the beam. It was unlikely, but not impossible, that 'he' would have landed in such a 'pose' if 'he' had been, just, thrown up there. In any case, as mentioned, earlier they did not recognise the bear as one of their own.

We arrived around 8 pm, and listened to the family's latest encounters, of shadows, whispering sounds and the sound of stones being thrown.

Shortly after arriving all members of the team experienced the symptoms of headache, pressure in the head and chest, irritation 'tickle' in the throat and pain in their arms.

After these, initial, feelings, The investigation began with the usual walk around the property, taking temperature readings and deciding where, best, to put the equipment. With equipment set up and ready the team, and clients, sat, in quiet anticipation of what the evening held.

Almost immediately, Carl picked up on an elderly gentleman, a lady and a little girl. Carl describe the lady to be in her 50's. She had black curly hair, was wearing a black dress and a pair of very 'sparkly' drop earrings. It became apparent that the elderly gent and the lady were related to the lady of the house. They seemed concerned about a piece of jewellery, a broach, which was a family heirloom and should have been, 'handed down' to and, in the possession of the lady of the house. This was confirmed to be the case, however our client had returned the broach to her mother. The spirit lady was also there because of a concern over the health of a family member, this was also confirmed by our client.

Carl explained that these two spirits had become trapped and had been trying to attract attention to their plight by drawing on [the family's] energy. This was the likely cause of the headaches and pressure our clients had felt and our team had experienced on the night.

The build up of energy in the flat was palpable and the gentleman 'of the flat' began experiencing the spirit lady's feelings and emotions. This was more than a little distressing for him, so the team decided it was time to help the two spirit's to pass 'to the light'. The lady of the house promised that she would bring the 'broach' back to it's rightful place, with her.

After this the team's attention was drawn to the third spirit, the little girl. She had no connection with the flat of the family but she wanted to stay and play with the little boy 'of the family'. As this spirit had been known to interact with our client (the gentleman), whilst he was in bed, Carl and he relocated to the main bedroom. Our client took position, lying on the bed, and was soon able to sense the little girl. He described her as being around 7 years old, with brown hair and two front teeth missing, he thought her name began with 'E'. The little girl was wearing a pink dress and skipping around the room.

When Carl and our client, returned to the room, Tracey began to feel very cold, it became apparent that the spirit, of the little girl, wanted to communicate through her. The team were able to find out, through Tracey's channelling, that her name was 'Edna', her birthday was on 9th April, but she was unable to give the year of her birth. 'Edna' confirmed that she wanted to be allowed to stay and play with our client's little boy. She was also able to clear up the mystery of the 'teddy bear', apparently an elderly lady had passed through the house and left it up there on her way through. 'Edna' asked that the bear be retrieved and placed with the other toys in the house.

The team retrieved the teddy from the beam, the teddy held with it a very calm and loving feeling. 'Edna' was pleased with this and after expressing her wish to stay with the family, even if they moved from the property, and promising that she would try not to wake or startle their little boy, she left Tracey to 'return' to the investigation.

After a rather eventful evening all fell quiet and calm so the team decided it was time to pack up and leave. As far as we know the family are living happily in the flat and are not being bothered by pressure and regular headaches any more.
